A fable is another type of story, also passed down from generation to generation and told to teach a lesson about something. Fables are about animals that can talk and act like people, or plants or forces of nature like wind. The plants may be able to move and also talk and the natural forces cause things to happen in the story because of their strength.

At 8 o'clock, a boy was climbing a tree. Suddenly his leg got stuck. He couldn’t help himself. The boy started screaming loudly, hoping someone hears his voice. Luckily a young man heard his voice. He started looking for the source of the voice, until he found the poor boy. The young man brought the ladder, and helped the boy get down.
