Taxonomies should be locally defined…exchange folders Search should be as broad as possible… , fileshares, eRooms, etc. Next step will be to use a user’s self-defined taxonomy to tag information and use the same taxonomy to provide personalized interface for search…personalized indexing

7 “Adoptable” Solutions Solutions need to be “Adoptable” Extension of existing desktop tools – Office, etc Enable users to leverage locally defined taxonomies (already have these) to search broadly indexed information (Google Appliance)
