OPERATIONAL CONCEPTS User Community –Anyone needing a ride to/from the airport Environment –Any web browser Major Benefits –Saving money, time Scope –Provides a meeting place for users to find and manage rides –Does not ensure reliability of people and/or rides –Does not ensure privacy of user information

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Requirements –Computer with Internet Connection Features –Provides a meeting place to find and arrange rides to/from the airport –Uses Google Maps to locate people and plan route information –Forum for people to exchange information –Group people together by destination to save money

SYSTEM AND SOFTWARE ARCHITECTURE Web Browser | Web Site | Web Service / \ Database Google Maps API

LIFECYCLE PLAN Who wants it? –People that need rides to the airport What will be done? –A website to group people together Who will do it? –Some group that chooses to do this project How will the job be done? –Write some code How much of each resource? –Time (10 weeks) from group members to contribute to the project
