HEALTH: Being Socially, Emotionally, Physically, and Spiritually well. It is not just the absence of disease.

4 Aspects of Total Health 1. SOCIAL 2. EMOTIONAL 3. PHYSICAL 4. SPIRITUAL They are all interrelated.

Improve your social health: take time to helpothers.

Improve your emotional health: have 8 big laughs a day.

That’s 8 big laughs!

When you were a kid, you laughed 400 times a day!!

Get 8-9 hours of sleep

Not 5 or 6…8 hours!!

Develop supportive relationships!

Drink 6-8 glasses of water each day!

Relax 15 minutes a day.

Eat 3 well-balanced meals per day.

Learn to hang out with others!

Eat 25% or less of your calories from fat!

Meet someone new everyday.

Wear your Seat belt!

Learn to be tolerant of others who are different from you!
