By Ishaq Breiwish 4G Empty Quarter Ecosystems in the U.A.E

My Big Idea: How might ecosystems in the Empty Quarter be affected by natural and man-made causes.

What is The Empty Quarter The Empty Quarter is a desert in Arabia that is famous for being one of the largest deserts of the world. General Picture of the Empty Quarter:

First Big Idea Here is my first big idea: Human actions greatly affect the Empty Quarter food chains.

Pictures

Concept The Concept used in this question is interdependence, and the main reason why is because this explains how humans impact the Empty Quarter food-chains.

Action: What to do? There are many actions we can do to try and stop this from continuing. We can make a YouTube channel or YouTube video about it, or even just not doing it yourself and telling others to get the word out

My Second Big Idea This is my Second big idea: Human’s carelessness greatly affects the Empty Quarter ecosystem

Pictures

Concept The concept for my second big idea is responsibility because it talks about how humans aren’t being responsible and are not taking care of the Empty Quarter.

Action: What to do? Try to send a letter to a someone in charge of a big company and try to convince them and inform them that they should probably change their ways so they can save the Empty Quarter. You can even make a simple presentation and show people at school and raise awareness. You can put up “No Littering” etc. signs.

My Third and Final Idea! How do natural things also cause harm to the Empty Quarter?

Pictures

Concept The concept for my final idea is connection because events like natural disasters we can’t stop but things like global warming that causes wildfires for example, we can stop. So this idea mixes what we can stop or change like global warming and what we can’t really do anything about like natural disaster such as sandstorms.

Action: What to do? We can try to convince important people to make centers to protect animals from natural disasters. For global warming, we can try to stop it by being more responsible.

C o n c l u s i o n All in all, if we work together we can save the Empty Quarter from natural disasters, human carelessness and negative human actions which will greatly help save the empty quarter ecosystems.
