Smart Search
Search Codes Your IPT training should provide you with a number of search codes, such as: *birthday *as_of *enrolled_in I have never seen a complete full list of codes. They are always listed as “Some Examples”
Compound Search grade_level in 10,12 gender=f ; PowerSchool uses the semicolon in many places
Stored Search Similar to Compound Searches
A couple of notes about stored searches: Stored Searches are global to the system. (Anyone with privileges can modify and run the search you create) Stored Searches always regenerate a new selection of students based on the search criteria. (If you perform a search on count day for something, the results will be different when the auditors are in your building)

Stored Selection
A couple of notes about stored selections : Stored selections are NOT global to the system. (You can publish your selection though) Stored selections NEVER regenerate a new selection of students (If you create a selection on count day for something, the results will be the exact same when the auditors are in your building)
