What is television ? A system for transmitting visual images and sound that are reproduced on screens, used to broadcast programs for entertainment.

What is television made of ? A lot of plastics for the case Plastic for the structure of the set Metals for the wiring and other components.

The different types of television LCD Panels o LCD panels are the most commonly-used type of panel in flat screen televisions today. OLED Displays o OLEDs are organic LEDs are pretty great. They're thin, light, and don't require backlighting. LED Backlighting o A standard LCD display is backlit by CCFLs, which aren't as efficient or effective as LEDs
