“Babying Our Books!” By Mrs. Paradise acenter/reading.htm

Always return books on time! But I can’t find it!

Where do books hide? On bookshelves Under beds In your classroom In your playroom at home On the bus In your backpack In your desk

Because books can hide, it is best to give them ONE special place to live while you are borrowing them. Where are some special places?special

Keep your books in the same, safe place at home so that you can find them when you need them.

Keep them away from younger brothers and sisters and pets.

 Use a bookmark to mark your place

 Keep books dry!

Be sure your hands are clean before you read your book.

I am the Book Doctor! Book If you find a rip or tear in your book, don’t try to fix it yourself – bring it to the Book Doctor!

Keep food, gum, or candy away from books.

Books are for reading, do not draw, cut or tear the pages.

Remember, our book “babies” are our friends. Please take care of them with love and they will love you back!
