He wrote stories of men and animals against the environment and their survival. He drew from his own experiences and used them in his books. His years spent in the Klondike region (arctic) affected him the most because this is what he wrote about. His works “embraced the concepts of unconfined individualism and Darwinism in its exploration of the laws of nature.” (survival of the fittest)
