Lesson Plan for Studying the NW Wild Wolf Ecosystems What Does a Wolf need to know about the surroundings in order to survive? What part of a wolf ecosystem impacts their own survival? What is happening to the transplanted wolves now in Oregon? Focused for a 3 rd grade classroom.

After completion of the activities in this unit, children will be able to demonstrate the following skills and understandings. 1. Identify different ecosystem environments 2. Confirm three sources of food for the wolf 3. Locate at least three threats to the wolf 4. Explain importance of wolf packs
