Famous French painter, designer and print-maker Grew up in a large family, left school at 14 to work in a coffee-importing company and then went back to school at 18 to study art. Served in the military and then went back to study art. Studied many styles of painting and became a Fauvist Painter Late in life, he developed Rheumatoid Arthritis and had to fasten a brush to his hand.
