Identify past, present, and future verb tenses correctly in a sentence.

 You already know the difference between a noun and a verb dogrun  You also know the difference between action verbs and state of being verbs jumpingare

Past Tense Action verb ends with a suffix –ed. I jumped into the river. Present Tense Action verb ends with a suffix –ing or –s. I am jumping into the river. Future Tense Will or Shall come before the action verb. I will jump into the river.
