I can analyze what factors led to the Protestant Reformation and what effects the Reformation had on Europe

Luther’s ideas spread all through Europe Protestant ideas took different forms in different places Switzerland  Calvinism England  Anglicanism

Luther had highlighted problems with the Catholic Church Church realized they had to make changes To ‘fix’ problems To regain loyalty of church members To maintain legitimacy as a religious authority Counter-reformation was a response to Luther and Protestantism

Many groups faced persecution during this time. Anabaptists and Jews Witch Hunts and hysteria throughout the time period

Everyone assigned a reading section via random draw Take notes on your reading section (first page of packet) Do not turn page until instructed to do so Get together based on the suit of your card. Break into two groups and answer the questions connected to your reading section Get together based on the number or face value of your card. Teach each other about your section of the reading.
