Music Piracy Music piracy is any form of unauthorized duplication and (or) distribution of music including downloading, file sharing, and CD burning. Music piracy is basically stealing music from these perfectly legal sites.

Music Piracy Cont. If you get caught illegally downloading music; you can face up to five years in prison or you can get slapped with a 250,000 fine. Think about it is it worth the money or the jail time. You can buy over 200,000 songs with that kind of money.

Poem Piracy Reports show that the American Poetry Society has been stealing poems from small time poets. A man named David from Templeton, California was one of the victims reported.

Poem Piracy Cont. Another was a man named Paul Vermeersch he was a homeless man although a wonderful poet was robbed of all of his poems.

Intellectual Property There are five basic forms of intellectual property that can be protected: patients, copyrights, trademarks, mask works, and trade secrets. each form of intellectual property has a unique function in helping individuals and businesses protect their business assets.
