Daily Life At The Mission  The Chumash ate fish, clams, mussels, abalone, wild plants, animals, shellfish, acorns, and corn soup.  The Spanish soldiers worked for the missionaries.  Children went to a place to study, while the adults worked.

Mission History In 1952 Santa Barbara went through an earthquake. The missionaries bribed the Indians with gifts, and the Indians where baptized and became Catholics.

Changes After Damages The building was rebuilt after the damages.
