My Community By Michael Chirco and Kelcey Parks

The Park’s Positives This is the park in my neighborhood. My neighborhood is Princess Anne Quarters. This is the place in my neighborhood where every one can play and hangout. It is a nice place to relax. There is the playground, a field, and a pond. It’s convenient because it’s in my neighborhood. It’s also a great place to play sports.

The Park’s Negatives Although the park seems nice, it has multiple negatives. The playground is very old. The pond has no visibility. There are a lot of gnats and mosquitos at the end of the day. People’s properties are right next the park and sometimes don’t want to be disturbed.

The Pond’s Positives The pond is in my neighborhood. My neighborhood is Seaboard Forest. The pond is a great place to walk your dog and also go fishing. There is also a path behind the pond that you can walk through. It is a great place to chill and hangout with friends. It’s also a great place to play and train your dog. It’s overall a good place.

Pond’s Negatives The pond also has some negatives. The grass is sometimes very high and hard to walk in. There are snakes and snapping turtles during certain seasons. There are also muskrats and other animals at certain points. There are also no lights near the pond which is dangerous at night.

Path’s Positives This is the path that connects my neighborhood, Princess Anne Quarters, with another neighborhood. This path is good when you want to go on a bike ride. The path is also good when you want to go on a longer bike ride or walk. My neighborhood is small, so the path makes the neighborhood bigger, sort of. Instead of having to walk on the street, you get a scenic path.

Path’s Negatives The path seems pretty cool, but it also has some negatives. The path isn’t paved, so you can’t ride your skateboard. The path is blocked by a fence so you have to hop it to go on the path. The person who lives next to the path doesn’t like people going on it because he’s old. The last part is that the path doesn’t have a fence to protect you from falling the lake.

Plan of Action for the Park The park is out of date and needs to be improved. To fix the park, we’d have to consult with city Construction and they’d have to put in the new Playground. The playground being replaced would cost around$14000 plus a few hundred at least for city workers. They’d work for a week at most, But a day seems more reasonable. If the playground Was replaced, then the park would look much nicer.
