What is Aurora? Futuristic concept browser Hands-on, virtual experience Newest addition to browsing community Simplified browsing experience

Who invented Aurora? Jesse James Garrett combined with a team from Adaptive Path came up with the idea of Aurora. They took the concept of Aurora to Mozilla and combined forces with their research team to add the finishing touches.

Aurora Consists of Four Main Menus: The Shelf consists of your frequently used objects located on the top horizontal menu. The History Stack is your browser history in reverse chronological order located on the left vertical side. The User Stack is a temporary storage space located at the right vertical menu. This is similar to “favorites” & “bookmarks” on today's browsers. The Wheel consists of all the applications you are actively using, which is located at the bottom horizontal menu.

Spatial View A three-dimensional view of all programs and files. The files are placed in partial chronological order, most recently used are toward the front and the infrequently used ones are pushed toward the back. This makes the files up front fully visible and the files in the back only partially visible. Related programs and files are automatically put in small groups called clusters.

These are the different choices used to explore using the wheel, the navigation element, of Aurora.

Benefits of Aurora Downtime in information exchange Increase effective communication Increase simplicity in the business world
