Coal, antimony, mercury, platinum, tin, tungsten, lead, jade, and soapstone are also some of Alaska’s natural resources.

Geography The Last Frontier- is called the Great Land by its Aleut natives, and Alaska is the land of great extremes. The nations largest state is Alaska, and it has both the largest mountain and the largest glacier in North America. Its volcano chain is the longest in the world. Alaska offers a richness and diversity. the land itself ranges from lush rainforest to treeless Arctic plain, from its rugged landscape rise fuming volcanoes, glistening glaciers, and lofty mountain peaks.
