Locations and its Uniqueness The Taiga is located in North America, Europe, and Asia. The Taiga is very unique because it is cold almost all the time, which leads to patches of permafrost. While the Winters are long and dry summers are short(last 2-3 months) and wet.

What lives in the Taiga Many animals live in the Taiga. These include squirrels, deer, moles, bears, elk, moose, wolves, lynxes, ermine, snow shoe hare, many insects, birds and wolverines.
