TSW identify the components of an introduction

Attention grabber  Question: create a question that will be answered throughout the research paper.  Quote: this can be a quote found on the internet or from the interviewee. The quote must correlate with your topic.  Short story: illuminate your topic by sharing a short story. Be careful not to create another point.

Bridge  The bridge should connect the attention grabber and thesis together.  Typically, 1-2 sentences  It has set the tone of the essay AND begins to introduce the specific topics. Attention grabber Bridge Thesis

 1 sentence that states what you’re going to talk about.  It should be simple and to the point.  New music, movies, and television shows were created in 1989.

Actors practice outrageous stunts to surprise their audience and television shows create new storylines that are more appealing to their viewers. During 1989, this seemed to be the trend. New music, movies, and television shows were created to wrap up the 80’s and bring in the 90’s.
