TACKLING POVERTY WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP DWP/JCP/Welsh Government have a shared concern over the poverty agenda Especially workless families and children brought up in poverty

Poverty, like wealth, can be passed on from generation to generation children brought up in poverty have a much greater risk of remaining in poverty and bringing up their children in poverty need to break this cycle of deprivation work is the best routeway out of poverty TACKLING POVERTY WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP

Employment Support in ICCs (ESICCs) in Wales The piloting of ESICCs is important in helping to break that cycle of deprivation Trialling new service delivery in partnership with Communities First and Integrated Children Centres Requires Jobcentre Plus to support partners business agendas and outcomes

Excellent example of partnership working Fits with DWP/ JCP “localism” agenda Links with the “Get Britain Working” initiative TACKLING POVERTY WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP
