Assurance What if you died tonight? –Can we know if we are saved? –Do you know if you would be saved? Need for assurance –Children need it –God gives it to us

Realize Assurance Because … God’s love is great –With us always (Romans 8:35-39) –Supreme sacrifice (John 3:16)

Realize Assurance Because … Certainty of the resurrection –Jesus raised already (Acts 17:30, 31) –Announced ours (John 5:28, 29) –His guarantees ours (Hebrews 9:27)

Realize Assurance Because … Eternal life is a reality –Can know we are saved (1 John 5:13) –Paul (2 Timothy 1:12; 4:6-8)

Attain Assurance By … Increasing our faith –Source is the Word (Romans 10:17) –Substance of hope (Hebrews 11:1) –“Full assurance” (Hebrews 10:22)
