Myoglobin  Enzyme in red blood cells  Helps with oxygen distribution from cell to outside.

 Heme is found in hemoproteins such as hemoglobin.  Diatomic gases(2 atoms)  Chemical catalysts  Electron transfer

Bones Mineral storage Ca²⁺ ions are releases in blood Needed by all cells in the body (mitochondria and ER)

Troponin-C Muscle contraction in skeletal and cardiac muscle. Helps in calcium channels Selective to calcium ion which results in a muscle contraction

Calmdulin  CaM helps with inflammation, metabolism, smooth muscle contraction, and can be found in cytoplasm, plasma, and other organelles.  Found in ALL eukaryotic cells
