Work bell-to-bell. Assigned seats are changed frequently (every 3 – 6 weeks). Follow directions on the white board as you enter. Have your composition notebook and pencil on your desk. Have purses and bags under your table. Warm-ups will appear on the board or the screen. No cell phones or MP3 players.

Go Back to Welcome Practice Problems Students are expected to complete assignments. Points are earned for each question with the correct answer with work shown. Late work will not be accepted. In the case of an excused absence, students will have one class period to complete the work assigned on the day of the absence.

Grading Assessments Retesting available to geometry students. –done outside class time –within two weeks of original testing date –all homework for that unit completed –maximum score on a retest is 80% Quizzes are unannounced. They may not be made up after the date given, but may be taken in advance, before/after school on the day of the quiz. If absent for a quiz, abs recorded which is an exempt marking. Projects assigned at most once per quarter.

Grading Final and Exit Exams If you have perfect attendance (no tardies, only “S” or “O” absences) and a B or better, you will be eligible to take the exit/final exam early

Grading Grading Scale: 90% – 100% A 80% – 89.9%B 70% – 79.9%C < 70%F There is no extra credit.
