Nomadic Life  Bedouins were herders and nomads (move place to place); had to do this to live in the desert.  However, they don’t wander, they follow water, specifically oasis.  They would trade with people who settled by an oasis.  Bedouins live in clans, sharing a common ancestor and ruled itself  Had good fighting skills to protect clan.

So what do you think these areas are going to eventually become? Explain. 2. The Bedouins had good fighting skills. Think about the Islamic Empire maps you are doing. Arabic Trade  The Arabian Peninsula was perfectly situated for trade. Crossroads between Asia, Europe, and Africa  By 600s, Arabs moving to the oases towns, which made them cities, and were centers for trade.  Sea and land routes connected Arabia to major trade centers in Asia, Africa, and Europe and got products from all three places.
