* The lack of technical courses (e.g. Excel, Intuit QuickBooks, and many other courses) in the College of Business.

* Business Students must know how to use essential software * Employers and recruiters look for key software skills * Used often in work setting

* 1. To create new courses under the College of Business * 2. To allow students to take technical classes in other universities and receive credit from Georgia Tech * 3. To team up with non-college education institutions and allow students to take classes from them

* In order of importance: * Credibility * Cost * Distance

To create new courses under the College of Business * GT can itself assure the credibility * GT bears $110,000 per professor invited * Students will have to pay their normal tuitions * No traveling for students

To allow students to take technical classes in other universities and receive credit from Georgia Tech * Emory assures the credibility * No cost to GT * Emory offers 5 levels of Excel courses (cost range of $357 ~ $425 per course) * Very close to GT Campus

To team up with non-college education institutions and allow students to take classes from them * Skillsoft assures credibility. May not be as credible. * No cost to GT * Students will have to pay on average $5,000 per course * No traveling for students
