Cape Ann: This style was derived from the Cape Cod Style The Chimney is centrally based The Gambrel roof encloses the attic Look a lot like barns due to the limited framing 1-1½ stories

Cape Ann Continued: Generally low to ground Gambrel roof Central Chimney for efficient heating Simple Exterior design

New England: This style house has a steep, pitched gambrel roof Very similar to Cape Ann New England houses can be 1-1½ story homes and more complex than Cape Ann
