BODY PARAGRAPH ONE Sentence 2: Context “Top Bread” Purpose Summarize the situation State Clearly: The 5 Ws (who, what when, where, why, and how) Example: Yeh-Shen was left with her father and new stepmother after her mother’s death and was treated quite poorly by her new step sisters who would not let her go to the King’s festival and made her watch the fruit trees.
