America Vs. ISIS By Mira Sripada November 17 th 2014

Breaking News Breaking news, Barack Obama is sending troops back to Iraq. As we all know Iraq’s leader has fallen and so has Iraq. We sent our best troops to fix the matter. We have tried for 9-10 years trying to resolve the issue but we left with some unfinished business to take care of. Now with ISIS coming into play Obama is now sending troops back to defeat ISIS. This happened November 14 th 2014

Who Who is ISIS? ISIS is a group of people who have decided to take over Iraq. They are becoming a very powerful threat and that is why Obama decided to send more troops to help. ISIS stands for Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

What On March 20 th 2003 there was an invasion led by United Stated, United Kingdom, Australia and Poland. This resulted in fighting with Iraq for ten years. America decided that they were fighting to long and wanted to leave. They left in the middle of everything and left Iraq a mess. ISIS wanted too take over Iraq. Iraqis didn’t agree with what ISIS had to offer. This is when Obama decided to send troops back to Iraq in order to defeat ISIS

Why ISIS wanted control over Iraq and also wanted to spread there religion. This region means that if you live there you will not be able to watch television, listen to music and dance. Most of us will agree that nobody wants to live in that type of environment so they have started a war and that’s why our troops needed to come in and help.
