Big idea: environment My big idea is the environment and the issues that surround it. I chose this idea because I am passionate about our environment and I frown upon the people that do not particularly care about our environment. Usually the people that don’t care, really don’t care and have a particular reason as to why they don’t care, or they do not understand the important issues behind it. So I feel it is my duty to help educate those that do not understand so they can make their own decision as to whether or not they can help improve our environment for future generations to come. Another thing, I feel it’s important for everyone to be educated about the issues of the environment, whether or not you care. I suppose most people know about the basic issues, like global warming and littering trash, but there are a lot more issues than just that. Did you know that there are a lot of endangered species right now, due to hunting? Did you know that the testing of nuclear weapons contribute to many factors such as, loss of habitat for animals, destruction of our land, and can even affect the people around us with the loss of senses and physicality of your body? Did you know that forest fires are very common and the process of deforestation isn’t helping? How are we going to get oxygen in the future? And did you also know that the pollution in this world not only affects the ozone layer, but it can affect you too? You probably did not think of these questions before, but will probably generate more questions in your head.
