Round/Dynamic Characters Who is the round/dynamic character in the novel, “Freak the Mighty”? What is a round/dynamic character?

Personification What’s an example of personification? What does personification mean?

Flashbacks Give an example of a flashback in the novel, “Freak the Mighty”. What is the purpose of having flashbacks in a story?

Protagonist What is a protagonist in a story? What is an example of a protagonist in the novel, “Freak the Mighty”?

Genre Give an example of a genre. What is genre? Name the four types of genres.

Characters Name all the characters in the novel, “Freak the Mighty”? What is the definition of a character?

Dialogue What is a dialogue? How do you know dialogue is going on in a story? Give an example of dialogue.

Stereotype What does it mean when I say, “All girls in 8th grade are always more studious than the 8th grade boys?” Who am I not taking into account or giving credit to? SO, what does stereotyping mean?

Diction What is an example of diction that you use, outside of this classroom? The diction that is used in the story, ”I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings,” is different than in the story, “Charles”. What characters prove that point? What is diction?
