Membership Development A three-pronged approach involving: Membership and Mentoring Education Information Management led by APGM as Provincial Membership Development Officer

Membership and Mentoring More than mentoring to support recruitment, retention, retrieval and recovery Project Teams: Recruitment (Self-Assessment – RE) Retention (Attendance – RE) Retrieval (the 60 day rule plus – PL) Recovery (might come back members - RP)

Education (JH) Support greater understanding & knowledge Add interest to meetings Provide alternatives to Ceremonies & “Short Thoughts” Select, develop and make available materials Identify, accredit and support a panel of presenters

Information Management (SM) Use Adelphi 2 to provide information to: Province Leaders Lodge Secretaries Project Teams For example: Member profiles Lodge statistics Provincial statistics

Support to Lodges Annual Mentor’s Report – providing feedback for further support Personal Development Guide - providing explanation, signposting and aide memoire for key lodge office holders, mentors, candidates & new office holders to enhance understanding Mentoring and Education website resources 88 lodge requested products

In summary 2015/16 will see a move from ‘Mentoring and Development’ toward a holistic approach regards ‘Membership Development’ Involving: a broader 4 R’s approach from our mentors and project teams; a lodge and secretary focused approach to education through delivery of high quality accessible material by accredited presenters; the provision of information for good management of all our lodges and members
