Odyssey Electronic document delivery software created by Atlas Systems Fully integrated with ILLiad (in 2000) but also available as a free standalone system Easy to use Documentation available

Odyssey – a few features Allows sending and receiving of electronic documents To other Odyssey sites, ILLiad sites, other vendor’s software that supports the Odyssey protocol Seamless desktop delivery to patrons “Trusted Sender” allows incoming Odyssey documents to be sent directly to the patron's Web account without staff review Supports scanning in color or b/w Automatic conversion of incoming files to PDF

UMBC (MUB) Using ILLiad and Odyssey since 2003 Over 81,000 borrowing articles requests filled & delivered through Odyssey Over 36,700 lending articles sent through Odyssey Over 8600 document delivery articles delivered through Odyssey (since Feb. 2008) All incoming borrowing articles are processed & sent through Odyssey (incl. Ariel, Article Exchange, fax, mail)
