What is SEMFOP-1? A management framework and the 1 st operational plan to protect the NT2 watershed and its: - forests - habitats - wildlife - biodiversity And to safeguard inhabitants in respect of: - livelihoods - culture - wellbeing

What is SEMFOP? A Shared Vision – the culmination of years of work with comments and suggestions from: - government - local communities - developers and sponsors - independent consultants - international financial institutions - NGO’s …………..and it is still in progress

SEMFOP Main Operational Area Nam Theun 2 Watershed Area: Nakai-Nam Theun NBCA (3,439 km2) Nam Theun Corridor (513 km2 ) Southern Corridor (36 km2)  Total Area of about 4000 km2 (around 9 time of the reservoir area at full supply level)
