UN/CEFACT Slide 3 Why Today average clearance times vary between two days (European Union and United States) and eight days (Eastern Europe, Middle Eats and Africa) It is estimated that even a modest 10% increase in the efficiency of the clearance processes would decrease costs for a company by 10.5 million EURO per day The average customs declaration costs in a European country is 31 EUR
