How to Properly Clean Your Computer Lesson 2

The Basics Cleaning a Computer is a little more complicating then creating CAT cable but there is a few tricks that you can use to get under every little component clean and ready to use.

Will This be Easy? Cleaning a computer isn't too difficult, It takes patience though, so don’t be surprised if it takes a few hours to get a really good and proper cleaning. It is recommended that you clean your computer once a month unless if you are in a safe environment then you shouldn’t have to do it this often, but it is always good to clean because it can enhance the performance and make your PC look like new.

Equipment You Will Need Anti- Static Wrist Wrap Compressed Air Computer Vacuum Cleaner (Optional Phillips Screwdriver Soft Cloth, Rubbing Alcohol Water Lint free Swabs

Anti-Static Wrist Wrap Computer Vacuum Cleaner Lint-Free Swabs Compressed Air Phillips Screwdriver Rubbing Alcohol Pictures of Items You Will Need

Step 1 First you are going to need to remove the panel off of your computer to gain access to the inner computer. The longer you let the computer sit before this the more likely it will be corroded with dust and dirt. If not properly elevated it will more or likely have severe levels of dust that could potentially harm the your computer.

Step 2 After the removal of the panel you will now have access to the components that need cleaned. If its unbearable then a computer vacuum is needed to get the majority of the dirt. But if it not that bad then compressed air will do the trick. First you can take some of the computer components off, if you thoroughly want to get the dust off. This is what I would recommend so that you can return computer back to normal.

Step 3 As you go through and clean each of the components, removing any dirt, if you would come across a type of dirt that is not coming off. All you would need to do is get a lint free swab and dab it in rubbing alcohol then after a few swift motions then that would be gone.

Step 4 The key components you should focus on when cleaning is first the motherboard (but be extra careful when cleaning this because it is the most important part within your machine, and without it the computer is pointless. Then second the fans ( these can be removed which is what I would recommend because it would make the process much simpler and this would allow to get all around it) the fans is what allows cool air to enter and exit your computer and having a build up of dirt on it is a really bad sign. Third and finally you should clean any component you think is necessary to clean, processors, video cards, anything that could help the computer run and operate better.

End Now maybe you should go out and give it a try on your own and this I hope will help you understand the fundamentals in a proper cleaning of your PC.
