 Earth is the third planet from the sun. Source: NASA.gov

 It takes Earth 24 hours to rotate.  It takes Earth 365 days to revolve around the sun.

 Earth is a rocky planet.  It has mountains, valleys, canyons, plains and so much more. Source: NASA.gov

 The moon revolves around Earth in 27 days.  This causes the moon to keep the same side or face towards Earth during the course of its orbit.
