OVERVIEW  The final design will be a 12 ft long, 4 ft tall and 5 in think board positioned at angles.  The panels on the ends of the board will be slightly shorter so that children in wheelchairs will be able to roll underneath them and have an opportunity to enjoy all of the activities. NAPOLI, SMITH, WAKEFIELD 2

OVERVIEW  Panel 1-A: Music Panel  Panel 1-B: Memory Game  Panel 2-A: Sonar Panel  Panel 2-B: Wheel Game  Panel 3-A: Create-A-Picture  Panel 3-B: Communication Panel NAPOLI, SMITH, WAKEFIELD 3

COMPLETED WORK  Wheel panel cut  Updated sonar solidworks  Cut for sonar panel  Decided on a plan to attach the create-a-picture buttons  Figured out how to work the memory game buttons  Redesigned memory game cuts  Redesign wheel game connections  Received posts  Cut braille down to size  Made several orders

SUCCESSES  Memory game buttons finally work  Got a lot of machining done  Re-designed a couple of panels so that we know that they will work  Found inexpensive circuit boards that we can solder  Sonar board cuts are completed

DRAWBACKS  Posts are way too short  Need to buy new LED’s for memory game  Need to buy new glue that will be expensive  Still need to make a lot of purchases (possibly expensive ones)  Need to redesign the music panel to fit the braille

FUTURE WORK  See timeline on website

FUTURE WORK - DELEGATIONS NAPOLI, SMITH, WAKEFIELD 8  Danielle Napoli  Memory Game  General bolts and brackets research  Take on any extra work with other panels  Alyssa Smith  Music panel  C-A-P Panel  Christine Wakefield  Wheel Panel  Sonar Panel  All  Figure out how to test product in April  Begin machining HDPE

BUDGET  We began with a total of $3,000  $1,000 from Biomedical Engineering Department  $2,000 from School of Engineering  BME Budget Remaining: $  SoE Budget Remaining: $  Total Budget Remaining: $ NAPOLI, SMITH, WAKEFIELD 9
