Critical Thinking In 21 st Century Education By Molly Blatt and Shea Wolford

The Advantages of Critical Thinking Exercising sound reasoning in understanding Making complex choices and decisions Identifying and asking significant questions that clarify various points of view and lead to better solutions Framing, analyzing and synthesizing information in order to solve problems and answer questions

Exercising sound reasoning in understanding This will help students when reading to comprehend the material and the purpose behind the piece of literature.

Making complex choices and decisions Having this skill will help students in social situation that arise during their school career.

Identifying and asking significant questions that clarify various points of view and lead to better solutions Teacher and student discussion will be important and beneficial if the student has this aspect of critical thinking. Having these advantages of critical thinking will enrich the students comprehension of all the small details in everyday science experiments.

Framing, analyzing and synthesizing information in order to solve problems and answer questions Math word problems require much focus and reasoning, so this will help work through the step by step process of solving it.
