Seven Lakes UIL  Kingwood Tournament cancelled  Seven Lakes UIL Tournament (1/16/2015)  Sign-up released after December meeting  More information to come later  Practice Tournament to replace Kingwood at DHS after our meeting on Dec. 11.  Simulate a real competition.  You must attend at least 1 competition to be considered for UIL & TMSCA State teams

Dulles HS Tournament (11/21/15)  Required to volunteer from 7 AM – 3 PM  Counts for both SNHS and MAO hours.  Wear your SNHS T-shirt!  If you cannot attend, you should’ve already contacted us!  Biggest fundraiser of the year! ($$)  Job assignments were sent.  Subject to change. Will be finalized Tuesday.  Food assignments  Follow instructions regarding quantity, size, and brand!  Must bring by Wednesday, November 18  Bring donuts/fruit & vegetable trays on Saturday 7 AM.  Write name on your item and initial on the drop-off sheet.  Assigned randomly.

Training  Attending a training session is mandatory!  Either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday from 2:40 – 3:15 in Dr. Poche’s room  Friday’s will end at 3:30 – will start after MAO meeting  Do not show up late!  This is to ensure our tournament runs smoothly and on time!

Points Opportunities  You need 10 points this semester!  Austin Parkway Elementary Science Night  November 19  5:30 – 8  Volunteers needed for hands-on science activities  DMS Math Club  Every Thursday from 3:30 – 5 (2 points)  Must get approval before first sign-up!  Do NOT need TMSCA experience  QV Math Club  Every Wednesday & Thursday from 4:15 – 5:30  Must get approval before first sign-up!

Points Opportunities  Boys & Girls Club  Monday – Thursday from 4-6  Can sign-up for multiple days  Required 1 hour from this activity per semester  SciNow  Fill out online form  Turn in to sponsors/officer  Only meeting hours count - not preparation hours  Math & Science Academy Tutoring  Only science tutoring  us to get credit  Find your own!  Supervisor must us to get credit.  You also get 0.5 point for informing us of an opportunity that we can share.

Grades (1 st Term)  Level III and Level II with lab  All other science courses  All non-science courses  Open Skyward on a computer in the back. Show a sponsor or officer (if you’re comfortable with this).
