 ICT tools are tools that has an input, output and we must be able to process with it.  ICT devices and object used in information and communications.

 Learning Management Systems  Student Management Systems  Digital Student Report Card Systems  Plagiarism Detection Systems  Online Collaborative Workspaces  Virtual Classroom Software Systems  e-Portfolios  Internet based software that deploys, manages, and tracks.  May include financial, timetabling, student records and reporting.  A digitized system for transmitting student information e portfolio  Examines digital text and by comparing nature and frequency of particular word strings.  Online communication tools to enable collaboration. Examples: Bulletin board, discussion lists.  Deliver an interactive learning environment to students with a computer and Internet connection.  Electronic (or digital) portfolio – digital storage to enable an individual.

Information and Communication Technologies have recently gained groundswell interest. It is a significant research area for many scholars around the globe. Their nature has highly changed the face of education over the last few decades. Blanskat, Blamire, kefala (2006) conducted a study carried out in national, international, and European schools. There is a significant improvement on learners’ performances. Finally, teachers become more convinced that educational achievements of pupils are due to good ICT use. In fact, high percentage of teachers in Europe (86%) states that pupils are more motivated when computers and Internet are being used in class.. Indeed, an absolute majority of teachers in Europe (90 %) claim to use ICT to do tasks, such as preparing lessons, sequencing classroom activities. ICT proves that students who used educational technology felt more successful in school they are more motivated to learn more and have increased self- confidence and self-esteem. It is also confirmed that many students found learning in a technology- enhanced setting more stimulating and much better than in a traditional classroom environment (Pedretti and Mayer- Smith 1998).

 This paper focuses on the Classroom of the Future project. It shows the whole process of building the classroom of the future from a normal classroom. It points out the problems and questions arising during the realization of the project, highlights the benefits of some ICT tools and shows the main lines of research running in connection with this issue. The main aims of the project are: (1) to build an Ideal Classroom for the 21st century, (2) to integrate multimedia learning environment into teacher-education, (3) to test the efficiency of the newest ICT tools in education (4) to develop curriculum materials for different ages to foster deep understanding and to motivate students through bringing real-life problems and new directions of teaching methods to school. Flexible furniture and technology is also a perfect environment for students to obtain the skills they will need in the real-life knowledge-based digital world.

Innovative teaching, multimedia in education  Multimedia is the combination of various digital media types (e.g. images, sound, video, text) they compile an integrated multi- sensory interactive application to present the information to an audience (Neo and Neo, 2001). According to Agnew, Kellerman and Meyer (1996) multimedia means “an individual or a small group using a computer to interact with information that is represented in several media, by repeatedly selecting what to see and hear next”. Aims of the project  The main aims of the Classroom of the Future project are: (1) to build an Ideal Classroom for the 21st Century (2) to integrate multimedia learning environment into teacher-education, (3) to test and research the efficiency of the newest ICT tools in education (4) to develop curriculum materials for different ages to foster deep understanding and to motivate students through bringing real-life problems and new directions of teaching methods to school.

 Within the confines of the project of the future classroom it must be built from an ordinary classroom, which is an ideal one for teachers and students as well. Electricity It follows from this that the first step to rearrange the classroom was the wiring. The electrician installed plugs in every half a meter along the longer wall in height of half meter from the floor, Colors In most of the cases faculties, prefer classrooms which wall color is "institutional" white. Mobile furniture allows for an easy rearrangement We also had to solve the problem of storage and charging the computers in a safe place. To do this, it was designed a special cupboard in the cleft, mentioned previously, was designed. By designing the cupboard, we had to keep in mind that (1) the air circulation of electronically tools is important, (2) charging the computers must be solved, (3) to make sure that an average-sized person is able to reach the location where the computers are. On one hand, Wireless technology and multimedia  The classroom of the future promotes not only a sense of well-being and produces a home-like atmosphere and its interior is technically well equipped and designed for effective learning as well.
