What is Genetics? Genetics are characteristics that got passed down from one generation to the next. Genetics are the same thing as DNA. Back

What can go wrong/ How does it work These are some genetic diseases such as down sin drown, being doff, you can be giant. One other genetic problem is being albino, being albino is having an extra cell. Albino people look similar; they have very white skin and have red eyes. Genetics are passed down by your parents. Back

Interesting Facts/ Conclusion This is a fact genetics are called genes for short. Such as your hair color, eye color and skin color. These have special names called DNA. It is not possible to have a dark colored baby if both of your parents are white. But it could be possible if one of your ancestors have dark colored skin. If your parents are both tall you will have a tall children. If your parents are both short you will have a short child. Did you know that DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid? Now you can test your spit sample to see if it’s really you. Almost every cell in your body has DNA. Before you are born you get 26 chromosomes from your dad and 26 chromosomes from your mom, and that is 46 chromosomes in all. Back
