Biography Johann Pachelbel - - Born in August 1653 in Nuremberg, Germany - - Baptized on September 1, Attended St Lorenz High School - - Attended Auditorio Aegediano - - On June 29,1669 he became a student at the University of Altdorf - - Scholarship at the Gymnasium Poeticum

Pachelbel traveled to Vienna 1673

In 1681 Pachelbel married Barbara Gabler and they had a son in Musicalische Sterbens- Gedancken that is translated to “Musical Thoughts of Death”.

Re-married to Judith Drommer and that they had seven children. Wilhelm Hieronymus Pachelberg, born in 1686 became a composer, organist, and harpsichordist.
