 Design, make, alter, or fit garments.  Sew buttons to attach to the clothing  Make patterns of garment parts on material, and cut fabric along the lines, using scissors.  Discuss with customers to find types of material and Fabric styles desired.  Repair or replace damaged garment parts such as pockets, zippers and, buttons.  Make Fashion style changes, such as tapering pant legs, making lapels, and adding or removing padding.  Develop, fabric, or adapt designs for material, and design patterns to fit measurements, applying knowledge of design, construction, styling, and fabric.

you will be taught how to sketch out fashion designs and create you own style dress. But first you have to have a masters degree and most important you have to have your knowledge.

 One requirement is that you have to put a lot of effort in your work.  You have to enjoy what your doing.  Dressmaker is very hard job you have to learn every thing in sewing, cutting straight, and much more.  Most important you have to have skills

I think there are some that can be really cool first of all you can always have a good time of doing it. When you see picture in a wedding magazine, of a famous person in your own dress that you designed that is really cool, but you have to be have because there are needles and points and a whole bunch of other thing that can hurt you.

I think this is not what I would like to do when I grow up but it is something I would think about as I get older. I would try to learn all this things if I want to do this career.
