As you come in… Please seat yourselves in groups of 3 (you do not have to sit in assigned seats today). Word Sort: Look at the list of rhetorical terms we have been learning. With your partners, figure out a way to sort them into 4 CATEGORIES. Explain why you sorted them in the way you did.

Rhetorical Term Hunt Find examples of the terms from your word sort list in this silly passage. Underline and label. Confer with your group members. – Synecdoche – Hyperbole – Metonomy – Polysyndeton – Oxymoron – Anaphora – Epistrophe – litotes

Add to the passage… Choose one of the terms. Add at least a few more sentences to the story, including an example of the term you selected. Be sure to label with the term you selected.
