ATTENDANCE POLICY If, for any reason trainees are up to 10 minutes late for a lesson they will be marked LATE on the attendance register for that lesson. If trainees are late 3 times in one week, then an extra 1 hour of absence will be added to the trainee’s ABSENCE total for the course. In the event that trainees do not turn up for a lesson or are more than 10 minutes late they will be marked ABSENT for that lesson.

ATTENDANCE POLICY 5% Warning When the number of recorded absences reaches 5% (15 lessons) of the total teaching hours (300 hours) in a course, a warning letter will be issued to the trainee. A copy of this will be forwarded to ADNOC/the OPCO concerned.

ATTENDANCE POLICY 10% Warning When the number of recorded absences reaches 10% (30 lessons) of the total teaching hours (300 hours) in a course, a final warning letter will be issued to the trainee. A copy of this will be forwarded to ADNOC / the OPCO concerned. When the number of recorded absences exceeds 10%, the trainee may be withdrawn from the programme.
