What is it? Steam cakes are cakes that are originally from Indonesia. They do not need to be placed in an oven or a fridge, all they need is a steamer. They are yummy and come in different colors and flavors. For example: Chocolate Strawberry and more.
Ingredients and kitchen tools You will need… 5 eggs 310 of sugar 1tbp of emulsifier 375g of flour 150ml of soda water 150ml of fresh milk Food colors Bowls Steamer Mixing spoon Patty pans
How to make it 1. Beat your eggs and mix with sugar and emulsifier for 10mins until stiff. 2. Enter the flour, milk soda water and continue mixing it. 3. Take approximately 50 gr of batter, put it in the small bowl and add the food colors, mix well. Repeat the process if you want different colors 4. Pour the batter into patty pans and add the batter with food colors mixture on top. 5. Get the steamer ready (hot and steamy) then put the patty pans with the filling in the steamer until it rises (10mins). 6. After 10mins open the steamer and take it out. 7. Enjoy and eat.
