Take reports from Baan and Infor ERP Ln to Excel, Word, PDF, HTML, XML & Notepad Using the B2Win 6.0 Configure Option to transfer non-standard layout reports to Excel

Most Baan and ERP Ln reports with a standard looking layout can be automatically transferred to Excel using B2Win Standard Main Header Delimiter “ | ” between columns Run such reports to B2Win and choose “ B2Excel ” table format and the output will be transferred to Excel properly

The Solution – Use the B2Win “ Configure ” option tfacp1435m000 is a non-standard layout report. Our goal is to convert it to Excel. This is how the output is in the Device “ D ” Floating header Sub totals can be done by Excel A missing delimiter Minus is on the right side of the number Titles appears in every page

Click on “ Configure ” and you will get the following screen …

Configure your report with the B2Win wizard: Assign Main Header

Add Floating Header

Add Floating Value

Set Action for floating header: Keep, Delete or Pivot

Press “ Next ”

Assign Data Type

Rename Column Title

Choose Column to Split

Mark location and split

Additional Report Formatting Options Conditional Formatting Rearrange Columns Sort Select Excel Templates

The result in Excel after converting the report using B2Win Report needs to configured only once. Next time this report is run by any user, same settings will be used for automatic conversion of report to tabular format.

Transpose Reports This Line-By-Line report needs to be configured as a “ Transpose ” report for converting it as columns.

Choose the data type of each report After you finished, click on “ Next ” A Format Cell window will appear for choices

Additional Report Formatting When you click “ Save & Exit ”, your settings will be saved and Excel will be launched. Next time you use B2Win 6.0 with this report, the same settings will be used – also in Auto-Mode
