On Base Percentage 1) add up all the times a player comes to bat. 2) Add up all the times a player reached base safely (walk, hit by pitch, **** does not include errors or fielders choice). 3) Divide the times a player reached base safely by the players total number of bats. 4) round to the third decimal place. Back Slugging Percentage: 1) add up all official at bats (except sacrifices, hit by pitch, or walk) 2) Add up the total bases (how many bases a player reached in all the times he hit safely. 3) Divide total bases by official at bats 4)Round to the third decimal place.

Earned Run Average 1)Add up total number of innings pitched. 2)Add up the number of earned runs given up. If there are no errors in the inning, then all the runs are earned. If there are errors reconstruct the inning without the errors to see how many runs would have scored if the fielding had been perfect. 3)Multiply earned runs by 9 4)Divide by the total number of innings pitched 5)Round the number to the second decimal place Back Batting Average: 1) add up a player’s hits 2)Add up a players at bats ( a walk, hit by pitch, and fielder’s choice do not count as an at bat, but an out does) 3)Divide hits by at bats 4)Round number to third decimal place

Fielding Percentage Add up your put outs and assists. Add up your total chances. Total chances are equal to your put outs, assists and errors combined. Divide your put outs and assists by your total chances. Round off to the third decimal place. Back
