“Blessed Are the Meek” “Blessed are the poor in spirit”— desperation. “Blessed are those who mourn”— broken over sin. 5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” (Matt. 5:5)

“Blessed Are the Meek” Are the Meek Blessed? The word “meek” =  Gentleness  Humility  Meekness = “strength under control.”

“Blessed Are the Meek” Abraham is a good a example of meekness. Meek = yielding your agenda to God and to other people.

“Blessed Are the Meek” Demanding Our Rights. It shows up as a philosophy of life. It also shows up in personality types.
